I've downloaded your sample exam or the full version and when I try to open it all I get is a blank screen.

Some of the programming code used in CDL Examprep is only supported in full version web browsers. If you are using a browser that was provided by your ISP such as AOL or SBC Yahoo CDL Examprep will not run properly. To fix this simply open the exams in Microsoft Internet Explorer(the little blue "e"). Browsers such as AOL's will try and force you to open everything in thier browser. To correct this in Windows do the following:
Go to your Control Panel,
Open Internet Options
Click on Programs tab
toward the bottom, check the box and click reset web settings
at the prompt click "yes"
click OK
Locate the file you downloaded and double-click it or select the file and choose open.

How do I know if these questions are relevant to my state's CDL tests?

Since the introduction of the standard CDL License all states now base CDL Exams on a Federal guideline. Some state's exams are easier than others but all state CDL exams are now testing the same material. About 20 states now have thier CDL handbook available as a free download at thier respective Department of Motor Vehicles website. If you look at a few of these you will see there are only minor differences from state to state. We recommend you use your state CDL handbook along with our practice exams, ensure you understand the concepts and ideas the questions are based on, and you should be able to pass the CDL exams in any state.
